Welcome to Razzamataz Medway.
Razzamataz Theatre Schools was launched in 2000 and achieved national recognition in 2007 after a memorable appearance on BBC’s Dragons’ Den, winning the investment from Duncan Bannatyne.
Razzamataz Medway launched in September 2010 and has grown from strength to strength. Offering tuition from ages 2 – 18 yrs we pride ourselves on top quality tuition at affordable prices. The School was delighted to be awarded ‘Franchise of the Year’ for the third time in January 2017, ‘Most Outstanding School’ and ‘Franchise of the Year’ in February 2014, ‘Brand Ambassadors of the Year’ in February 2013, Best New Business in Medway in 2012, ‘Best New Franchise’ in 2011 – these national accolades are all testament to the hard work, passion, enthusiasm and dedication of both our students and teaching team.
The students also achieved national recognition being crowned Jack Petchey’s UK Glee Club Champions in 2016 and winning 1st place in the National Kent and Vocal Dance Challenge, won a national song writing competition judged by musical theatre star, Louise Dearman – they are the creators of the Razzamataz Future Fund Song – I Believe. Students regularly perform in the local community with performances at The Brook Theatre, Central Theatre and in the professional pantomimes at the Hazlitt Theatre. The school are proud of their West End Team who have performed in Her Majesties Theatre, home of Phantom of the Opera as part of the Razzamataz Gala Performance and this year they are set to perform at Disneyland Paris as part of their 25th Anniversary celebrations!
Students have also secured places to further their professional full time performing arts training at Sylvia Youngs, The Brit School, The Centre PAC, Bird College, Reynolds Performing Arts Academy and D&B Performing Arts. Young students can also be seen on Cbeebies Let’s Play and CiTV’s Scrambled.
Alongside their professional training from industry professionals, the school is often visited by guest performers, including Nickelodeon Jnr Pop Group – ‘Go!Go!Go!’, One Direction choreographer and dancer James Robinson aswell performers from The USA Motown Show, Les Miserables West End Show, Grease, Happy Days National Tour, Cats West End Show, Ghost West End show to name a few!
Other opportunities offered at the school include Arts Award, the Razzamataz Future Fund, Annual Award Ceremonies and lots of fun!
